- Die Sippe wird seit über 100 Jahren als eigene, bisher unbeschriebene Art geführt (Gäumann 1923, Buhr 1956, Jage et al. 2017).

- Die Art ist aktuell an der Nordsee nachgewiesen (Nordfriesland, Kruse et al. 2022) und sonst aus Deutschland nur von einer Binnensalzstelle in Thüringen belegt, wo sie seit 1957 verschollen ist (Buhr 1956, Buhr 1960).
