- Die Art gilt als Profiteur des Klimawandels (Poniatowski et al. 2018). Sie hat sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten nach Norden und in die Höhe ausgebreitet (u.a. Grein 2010, Poniatowski et al. 2018, Fumy et al. 2020, Poniatowski et al. 2020, Fartmann et al. 2021, Ogan et al. 2022). Die Berechnung des kurzfristigen Bestandstrends ergab dementsprechend eine Bestandsveränderung von +18%. Diese deutliche Zunahme in jüngerer Zeit wirkt sich auch auf den langfristigen Bestandstrend aus: Es wird jetzt auch langfristig von einer deutlichen Zunahme ausgegangen (vgl. Maas et al. 2011).
