- Wahrscheinlich ungefährdet und bisher übersehen; Staurastrum caledonense im Sinne der Erstbeschreibung wurde bisher nicht zweifelsfrei für Deutschland dokumentiert. Bei der Dokumentation durch Scharf (1985) handelt es sich nach Šťastný (2010) um Staurastrum bloklandiae. Staurastrum caledonense Huber-Pestalozzi 1929 ist aus dieser Liste auszuschließen.
