- Der Pilz wird neuerdings als Rossmanomyces monesis (Ziller) Aime & McTaggart geführt (Aime & McTaggart 2020). Die neue Gattungszuordnung wurde erst bekannt, nachdem die taxonomische Überarbeitung der Gesamtartenliste bereits abgeschlossen war.
- Further comments
- Der bisher einzige Nachweis in Deutschland erfolgte 1947 in Tomerdingen, Baden-Württemberg (Herbarium B). Der Pilz wurde vorher vermutlich übersehen und wird als indigen eingestuft.
