- Puccinia favargeri wird von Index Fungorum (2021) und MycoBank (2020) zur morphologisch sehr ähnlichen P. graminis gestellt. Ob P. favargeri eigenständig ist, müssen künftige molekulare Untersuchungen zeigen. Wirt ist [Berberis →] Cynosurus elegans*.
