- Comment on taxonomy
- Rieth (1980) stuft die Art als problematisch und möglicherweise zu Vaucheria geminata gehörend ein. Sowohl bei Krieg et al. (1988, Abb. 6) als auch im Rahmen dieser Erhebung (Abb. 3 l) wurden Algenproben nachgewiesen, die eindeutig die Merkmale von V. taylorii besitzen.
