- Further comments
- Wolga-Zander wurden erstmals 2010 im Mittellandkanal (Niedersachsen) nachgewiesen, wo sie offenbar illegal eingesetzt wurden. Inzwischen ist die Art flächendeckend im Mittellandkanal, im Elbe-Seitenkanal sowie im Elbe-Havel-Kanal verbreitet. Die Art breitet sich weiter in die Elbe sowie in die Weser aus.
