- Das Taxon wurde aus den Tropen beschrieben, dann zuerst aus Frankreich (Kouwets 1998) und einige Jahre darauf aus Sachsen gemeldet (LfULG-Meldung). Kouwets (1998) spekuliert, ob die Art zufällig nach Frankreich eingeschleppt wurde oder ob sie ein in Ausbreitung befindlicher Neophyt ist. Es sollte zunächst ausgeschlossen werden, dass es sich bei den asymmetrischen Formen um Modifikationen handelt.
