- Zahlreiche Neoerysiphe galii-Angaben beziehen sich auf Funde der Anamorphe. Eine teilweise Zugehörigkeit der aufgeführten Wirte bzw. der hier inkludierten Fundmitteilungen zu Golovinomyces riedlianus (siehe dort) oder sogar G. orontii s.l. (vgl. Takamatsu et al. 2009, Braun et al. 2019) kann nicht ausgeschlossen werden. Nach Klenke & Scholler (2015) mit Verweis auf Schmid-Heckel (1985) existiert evtl. auf Galium odoratum noch ein anderes Oidium sp.
