- Aktuell in Europa nur Einzelfunde in FR, BE und DE, in mehreren zentraleuropäischen Ländern verschollen. In Europa vom Aussterben bedroht, außerhalb Europas in Asien. Außereuropäischer Arealanteil und Gefährdungssituation unbekannt.

- Die Population bei Freiburg auf dem Gelände einer ehemaligen Erzwäscherei steht vermutlich kurz vor dem Erlöschen (M. Lüth, pers. Mitt.).
- Further comments
- In Ludwig et al. (1996) wird Corley et al. (1981) folgend zu dieser Art Ulota macrospora Baur & Warnst. synonymisiert; erstmals 1995 von W. Manzke in HE nachgewiesen (s. Meinunger & Schröder 2007) sowie je einmal in BW (bei Freiburg, Lüth 2009) und in SN (Erzgebirge, Biedermann et al. 2014).
