- Das Taxon wurde anhand von Belegen aus dem Victoriasee erstmals beschrieben, kurze Zeit später als Einzelfund aus Sachsen gemeldet und danach nicht wiedergefunden. Es wird von Coesel & Meesters (2013) nicht als europäisches Taxon genannt.
