- Die Art wurde in Deutschland nur 2005 und 2007 auf Reseda luteola, einer bis dahin nicht als Wirtspflanze von diesem Weißrost bekannten Reseda-Art nachgewiesen (Jage et al. 2017). Sie wurde vorher vermutlich übersehen und wird hier mit dem archäophytischen Wirt als Archäomyzet eingestuft. Es könnte sich auch um eine jüngere Einwanderung handeln, z.B. aus dem mediterranen Raum.
