- Beschreibungen und Hinweise zur Bestimmung finden sich in Fanzago (1880), Verhoeff (1930) sowie Verhoeff (1930) (als H. aprutianum Verhoeff, 1930).
- Further comments
- Die Art kommt in Italien in der Emilia-Romagna und in Kalabrien vor (Kime & Enghoff 2011). H. pallidum wurde in Deutschland bisher nur einmal in einem Auwald am Rhein bei Altlußheim in Baden-Württemberg nachgewiesen (Decker et al. 2025). Ob die Art auch in den umliegenden Rheinauen vorkommt und sich eventuell schon etabliert hat, muss geprüft werden.
