- Der Pilz wird auch als Naohidemyces vaccinii (G. Winter) S. Sato, Katsuya & Y. Hirats. ex Vanderweyen & Fraiture geführt, doch besteht Unklarheit über die Priorität beider Basionyme, so dass vorläufig an der Nomenklatur nach Klenke & Scholler (2015) festgehalten wird.
