- Eine taxonomische Überprüfung des „Chrysoperla carnea“-Museumsmaterials nach Chrysoperla mediterranea steht noch aus. Die Einschätzung der Häufigkeit ist somit lediglich vorläufig.

- Rezente Funde der Art gelangen nach dem deutschen Erstnachweis 2010 bei Rastatt in Baden-Württemberg (Tröger 2012) nun auch 2015 bei Saarbrücken im Saarland (Potel, unpubl.).
