- Der Nachweis an Blättern von Campanula rapunculoides stammt aus dem Jahr 1931 (Buhr 1956, als „Peronospora sp., unbeschriebene Art“). Nach Jage et al. (2017) gehört er nicht zu der Blüten besiedelnden Peronospora corollae. Sie führen ihn als Peronospora cf. erinicola Durrieu.
