- Die Art stammt vermutlich aus Südostasien und hatte 2013 England erreicht. 2019 wurde sie in einem Privatgarten in Niedersachsen an einer Aquilegia vulgaris-Kultursippe gefunden und dort aufgrund ihres wirtschaftlichen Schadpotenzials umgehend vernichtet (Thines et al. 2020). Ob sie auch andernorts vorkommt und sich etabliert hat, ist momentan unklar.
