- Die Gruppe umfasst alle Rostpilz-Arten mit Wirtswechsel von Urtica zu Carex: Puccinia biporospora, P. urticae-acutae, P. urticae-acutiformis, P. urticae-flaccae, P. urticae-frigidae, P. urticae-hirtae, P. urticae-inflatae, P. urticae-paniceae, P. urticae-pilosae, P. urticae-ripariae, P. urticae-umbrosae und P. urticae-vesicariae. Die auf Urtica gebildeten Aecien der Arten sind morphologisch nicht unterscheidbar und können nur der Gruppe zugeordnet werden. Enthalten sind außerdem einige Befälle auf Carex-Arten, deren nähere Artzugehörigkeit innerhalb der Puccinia urticata-Gruppe bisher nicht geklärt ist.
