- Die Gruppe umfasst einen Komplex ungenügend bekannter Süßgrasroste und entspricht in ihrer Umgrenzung Puccinia poarum Niels. in der Fassung von Cummins (1971). Tatsächlich handelt es sich um ein Sammelsurium morphologisch ähnlicher Arten mit Petasites und Tussilago als Aecienwirten.
- Further comments
- Insgesamt ist der Pilz wesentlich häufiger auf den Aecienwirten – vor allem auf Tussilago farfara – nachgewiesen worden als auf seinen Telienwirten, einigen Poa-Arten. Ältere Angaben unter dem Namen Puccinia poarum an Poa-Arten beziehen sich oft auf eine weite Artauffassung unter Einschluss von Arten der Puccinia poae-nemoralis-Gruppe.
