- Nach Darsaraei et al. (2021) kommt Erysiphe capreae v.a. auf Salix-Wirten des subgen. Vetrix sect. Vetrix vor. Zu den von ihnen untersuchten E. capreae-Befällen aus Deutschland gehören Belege von folgenden Wirten: Salix caprea und S. dasyclados. Die anderen Wirte werden provisorisch zugeordnet.
