- Noch mangelhafte Kenntnisse zur Gesamtverbreitung des von Aphodius fimetarius (Linnaeus, 1758) differenzierten Taxons, doch sprechen erste Überprüfungen von Sammlungsmaterial dafür, dass die Art weit verbreitet und nicht selten ist (Rößner mdl. 2020).
- Further comments
- Im Norden (Schleswig-Holstein und Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) bisher nur sehr wenige Nachweise, ansonsten in ganz Deutschland vorkommend, allerdings mit deutlich weniger Funden als die Schwesterart Aphodius fimetarius (Fery & Rößner 2015, Rößner & Fery 2015).
