- Das Areal der Art erstreckt sich vom Mittelmeergebiet bis Mittelasien. Auch Teile Russlands sind besiedelt. Die Art strahlte historisch bis Mitteldeutschland aus, von wo sie beschrieben wurde.

- IN; das Vorkommen der Art in Deutschland galt lange als fraglich und wurde somit in der Vorgängerliste nicht berücksichtigt. Der Locus typicus liegt aber in Deutschland (Germar 1835), möglicherweise im heutigen Sachsen.
