- In Deutschland nur von einem Fundort in Oberbayern bekannt. Weltweit sonst nur aus Lappland (Norwegen, Finnland) gemeldet. Aufgrund der Isolation der Population hat diese einen eindeutigen Reliktcharakter (Liston & Späth 2005) und Deutschland ist somit für sie in besonderem Maße verantwortlich.
- Comment on threat
- Nur von einem Fundort im Alpenvorland bekannt. Die wenigen Meldungen der einzigen Wirtspflanze (Salix myrtilloides) von anderen bayerischen Standorten und angrenzenden Ländern (Schweiz, Österreich) basieren alle auf Pflanzen, die hybridogene Einflüsse von Salix repens agg. aufweisen (Hegi 1981, Hörandl et al. 2002). Solche Pflanzen sind wahrscheinlich nicht als Wirte für P. myrtilloidica geeignet. Nur am Pulvermoos kommt noch reinrassige S. myrtilloides vor. Folglich ist fortschreitende Bastardierung von S. myrtilloides als Bedrohung für die einzige deutsche Population von P. myrtilloidica zu sehen.
