- Braun & Cook (2012) listen im Gegensatz zu Klenke & Scholler (2015) unter P. clandestina nur Wirte der Tribus Maleae (= Pyreae) der Rosaceae auf, jedoch keine Spiraea-Arten. Diese werden hier als Wirte provisorisch Podosphaera minor zugeordnet (siehe dort).
