- Der Pilz kommt auch in Schwermetallrasen auf schwermetalltoleranten Armeria-Sippen vor, die früher als eigenständige Unterarten aufgefasst und heute in A. maritima subsp. elongata einbezogen werden (vgl. Baumbach & Hellwig 2007).
