- Südlich von München häufig; nördlich von München wird sie durch C. permutatella vertreten. Möglicherweise sind Altnachweise von C. myella nördlich München auf Fehlbestimmungen zurückzuführen. Eine Nachuntersuchung der Belege ist erforderlich (Segerer, A., persönliche Mitteilung).
