- Die Art ist durch den verbreiteten Rückgang der Larvennahrungspflanze im Zusammenhang mit intensiver Mahd, Aufgabe extensiver Bewirtschaftungsformen und Beseitigung von Ödlandflächen gefährdet.

- Die Puppen wurden unter der Rinde alter Wurzelstöcke von Artemisia absinthium gefunden (Schmid 1892).
