(2004) akzeptiert; in Gutowski & Foerster (2009) wird auf die mögliche Synonymie hingewiesen; Closterium nilssonii hat Indikatorwert in PHYLIB und wird in Schaumburg et al. (2004) und Gutowski & Foerster (2009) genannt.
