- Die Art tritt in Deutschland nur in der Unterart Proasellus slavus slavus (Remy, 1948) auf. Der früher als weitere Unterart geführte P. s. nolli (Karaman, 1952) wird heute als eigene Art P. nolli aufgefasst.
