- In Csuzdi & Zicsi (2003) als Octolasion lacteum; O. tyrtaeum ist in Deutschland der gängigere Name; nach Sims & Gerard (1999) zwei Unterarten: O. tyrtaeum tyrtaeum (Savigny, 1826) und O. tyrtaeum lacteum (Örley, 1881).
